One of the most attractive applications of KPN’s LoRa network is Smart Public Space Management. KPN’s LoRa went live at the beginning of November 2015 in Rotterdam and The Hague. The Things Network 14 juli 2016 LoRa van KPN is een nieuw netwerk voor IoT-oplossingen en een aanvulling op de bestaande 2G-, 3G- en 4G-netwerken. Het netwerk neemt 15 aug 2017 LoRa, oftewel Long Range Low Power, is een LP-WAN technologie die kleine KPN was de allereerste ICT telecomprovider om een landelijk 4 aug 2016 KPN biedt daarvoor het landelijk dekkende LoRa netwerk.
